About the Photographer

Welcome to the place to find out more information about yours truly, Daniel Pearson. I'm twenty two years old currently residing in Tamworth, Staffordshire (which is near Birmingham for those of you who have never heard of it). I haven't being shooting for that long but my love for photography started when I was young, where I would go round and take photos of absolutely everything! (sort of what you did when you had your first camera phone) My first digital camera was a 0.3MP with 2x digital zoom and could only hold 6 photos! My passion lies in shooting nature, wildlife and architecture.

I am hoping I can show people the beauty in life and help create awareness for our natural environment. I am also hoping I can inspire people of all ages, to get hold of a camera, whether it's a compact, SLR or even a phone and then use it to take some shots of their own. After all, photography isn't difficult to master, all it takes is time, patience and a creative imagination.

The best part about being a photographer is the freedom to shoot anything you want without anyone judging you. I personally enjoy shooting in the country side around nature and away from factories! Most photographers, myself included usually have a section dedicated to urban photographs as well as still-life and objects.

Myself and many other photographers I have spoken to have noticed that, when you take a photograph of certain subjects, you may get awkward stares off members of the public. Keep in mind however that this is normal, and try not to let it bother you to much. If it really does bother you, try and wait until the passer-by has moved on, the chances are you'll only get these looks when taking photographs of inanimate subjects. (I.E. a rock, flower or tree)

Besides photography, I have a keen interest in horse riding and have being riding for around ten years. I am a competent rider and jumper, and I have also run a website regarding horse information for the last 5 years. I am also a skilled web designer and have designed over 8 websites in the last ten years, including this one! I also enjoy spending time with my friends and family, as well as doing what men do best, playing on the Xbox or watching TV!
